Our Environmental Mission

 

Since one of our deeply ingrained values at the company is protecting the environment, Cascades has clear environmental directions for not only surpassing the current environmental standards, but also creating precedents for making our way in the future. Whether for recycling materials, re-using waste, improving water and air quality or energy efficiency, Cascades has established high standards for each operating unit and closely monitors their steps toward achieving the objectives.

 

To reiterate its units’ commitment to protecting the environment, Cascades updated its environmental mission in 2007. Along with this process, an Environment, Innovation and Energy symposium brought together the main players in sustainable development at Cascades. The high point of this meeting: a series of commitments, which will enable Cascades to affirm its leadership position in environmental and energy performance, and which will support R&D in innovative environmentally sound products.
