Cascades unveils the mural on its Candiac plant

Kingsey Falls, Québec, August 27, 2024 – Cascades announces the unveiling of a fresco painted on its Candiac plant. The project, part of the company's 60th anniversary celebrations, was conceived and produced by the TYXNA artists' collective.

This project is part of Cascades’ commitment to the communities in which it operates, which includes beautifying environments. Cascades chose the Candiac plant near one of the municipality’s main arteries, a bicycle path, and Parc André-J-Côté.

“This work is a legacy to the Candiac community. For 60 years, our company has been forged by the involvement of men and women committed to their community, which has made Cascades so successful. As a corporate citizen, we're proud to give back to the community and beautify the neighborhood with this colorful fresco,” says Hugues Simon, President and CEO of Cascades.

A second mural was painted on the Cascades Papiers Kingsey Falls plant in early summer.
