Emmanuelle holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Université Laval, where she specialized in human resources and information systems. During her studies, she also played basketball for the Rouge et Or and worked for the family business. She began her career at Cascades in 2001, as Human Resources Manager for the Succession Program. After gaining four years of experience at this plant, she was promoted to a multi-site HR Manager role and took on new challenges, including a new acquisition in the United States and a plant in Montreal. These development mandates led to the position of HR Regional Manager for Ontario and Quebec in the Containerboard Group.

Next, Emmanuelle took on the role of Change Manager for the business process transformation project and implemented an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system throughout the company. She then successively held the positions of Director of Change Management and Training, Director of Talent Management of the Centre de développement des compétences Alain-Lemaire, and Vice-President of Resources.

After seven years as leader of the One HR project and manager of the HR centres of expertise, she joined the Specialty Products Group in 2018 as Vice-President, Human Resources. She subsequently moved to the Tissue Group in 2021.

In November 2024, Emmanuelle is accepting a brand-new role on the Cascades Executive Committee, that of Vice-President, Excellence. In this role, she will accelerate the integration of a culture of excellence at Cascades. Its aim will be to capture all opportunities for continuous improvement, generate ideas, prioritize them, and help cross-functional teams achieve the results targeted by the strategic plan.

Emmanuelle is a firm believer in team development and applies it to her personal life, having spent five years developing young athletes as a basketball coach for the high school teams of her two sons.
